Olga O’Neil, CFA, is the founder and Managing Director of ALTOM. She has a fifteen-year global asset management and investment analysis experience with Tier one institutions in Canada. Olga has been a member of Chartered Financial Analysts Institute for over twelve years and is a member of Barbados and Toronto CFA Societies.

Broad Investment Advisory Services
We offer a wide array of services which can be customized to suit the individual needs of each client, whether they are a full service contract with discretionary asset management mandate or small niche projects. The examples of these include the following:
- Assist in the review and formulation of the Investment Policy Statement (IPS);
- Provide advice and recommendations on strategic and tactical asset allocation;
- Perform a thorough review of the existing portfolio of assets and determine the suitability of the individual holdings for an investor within the framework of the IPS;
- Prepare a detailed set of recommendations on asset purchase, disposal and management;
- Perform due diligence and prepare recommendations on potential external fund managers/fund selection and further provide analytical materials to support such recommendations;
- Offer clients an opportunity to meet and interview some of the best hedge fund managers in North America, Europe and Asia;
- Perform periodic reviews of the existing fund managers’ performance and communicate the findings using the appropriate level of detail to our clients and other designated parties such Investment Committees, Board of Directors and Financial Advisors;
- Maintain contact with the existing external fund managers on our clients’ behalf;
- Prepare periodic portfolio and market reviews of varying complexity and level of granularity;
- Prepare Investment Portfolio Attribution Analysis (allocation, selection, top contributors/detractors, risk analysis, style characteristics, etc).
Active Asset Management
Altom Core Equity Strategy seeks longer term growth of capital by investing in a diversified portfolio of marketable securities, consisting primarily of developed market equities. The regional exposure of the portfolio is determined purely by the attractiveness of the underlying investments and their valuation profiles. The investment focus of the Altom Strategy is on companies that have sustainable business models and high barriers to entry, attractive intrinsic valuations, and above average dividend yield. The Altom Strategy has a bias towards large capitalization companies with below market volatility. The strategy is liquid and has performed well during the volatile market conditions and achieved an annualized return of 17%. Board and Corporate Representation Services
As a privately owned company, not affiliated with any bank, we offer experienced directorship services that are truly independent of any financial biases. Our expertise in the investment and the finance fields makes us a number one firm to source a qualified investment professional from, for your Investment Committee.
